Ezért, ha csak másképp nem definiáljuk, az angol "Balls" szó alatt a labdát értjük, az olyan csodálatos játékok alapvető eszközét, mint a futball, röplabda, kézilabda, vízilabda, vagy jégkorong.

Ettől függetlenül a mottónk így hangzik: "Gyönyörű, mert gömbölyű...". Aligha vonhatja ezt bárki is kétségbe.

The name of the game is: volley! A word well known to footballers as well: the striker takes a pass from the team-mate and makes a shot "right from the air".

And there are some names that should be well known to us as well:

Timea Huszka, Agnes Abraham, Luca Tóth, Eszter Lewis, Anna Timea Antal, Éva Buzási, Betty Várkonyi, Natalia Bakos, Barbara Fazekas, Orsolya Fischer, Virág Farkas.

That was the line-up of the Hungarian team at this year’s All Nations Volleyball Tournament in London, June 7-8 and June 14-15. Those ladies won ten matches out of ten to be winners of the tournament. Let us mention the name of head coach: Robert Rapi. Well done, ladies, triple cheers!

In the Summer pre-season period, from July 17th to July 20th, Ferencvárosi TC offer an opportunity to some European top womens' football teams to prepare themselves for their respective championships seasons and/or to the UEFA Women's Champions League games. So, the hosts organized an event where teams accepted their invitation could play friendly football matches on international level.

Let us shortly introduce the squads in alphabetical order. For simplicity, short team names are used.

Welcome to our site. The intention and purpose of this blog is to give insight into international women’s ball sports events organized mainly in Hungary or, some times, in the Central European region.

Consequently, unless otherwise specified, we shall interpret “Ball” as the main tool for playing such wonderful games as football, volleyball, handball, water polo, or ice hockey.

Nevertheless, our motto is: "Round Is Bueatiful..." and we don't think you doubt that.
